Auburn giving away stickers at Texas A&M game with dig at Alabama
It's easy for Alabama to claim supremacy in the rivalry against Auburn when only one schools shares a name with the state they inhabit. The Tigers are looking to change that with these stickers they're handing out to students at this week's game against Texas A&M.
According to AL.com, the school bookstore has t-shirts with the logo for sale, which Tigers fans were clamoring for once co-offensive coordinator Dameyune Craig tweeted a picture of Auburn receiver Sammie Coates wearing one.
No word on whether the athletic department has petitioned the state legislature to make the name change official.
