The mystery that is Nets.com keeps getting better, as the website now redirects to Jason Kidd's personal website following the close of an eBay auction for the rights to the domain.

The website is currently owned by a computer systems company based in New Mexico that has used its control over the domain name to tease the Brooklyn Nets repeatedly over the years. It has redirected the domain to official sites of rivals, such as the New York Knicks and Miami Heat, and it also recently redirected to an eBay auction for the domain rights.

Kidd and the Nets parted ways this summer, as Kidd left the team after just one year as coach to become coach of the Milwaukee Bucks

While it would be amazing if former Nets coach Kidd had ponied the $73,300 winning bid to escalate his war of words with Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov, that does not seem to be the case, as the same seller has relisted the domain on eBay already.

Bids for the address had already reached $45,100 as of Friday morning, with roughly five days remaining before the auction ends.
