Pierre Garcon handed out free pizza to veterans at his restaurant
Redskins receiver Pierre Garcon owns a pizzeria near the team's training facility in Ashburn, Virginia. In honor of Veterans Day, Garcon decided to thank service members by giving all active duty military members a free one-topping pizza and beverage of their choice.
According to TMZ, Garcon was there with some teammates, including Robert Griffin III, taking pictures.
Other Washington players took time Tuesday to show support for the troops. Running back Alfred Morris was manning the phones at the Turkeys for Troops Telethon. Griffin met with families who lost family members in the line of duty.
