A crew race in Riverhead, N.Y., over Veterans Day weekend spiraled into chaos as boats ran into docks and one another, all while spectators became oddly furious with the racers.

The video begins with a wayward boat crashing into a dock filled with spectators, sending one of the rowers overboard, and from there becomes a comedy of errors soundtracked by people berating the confused teams as they try to figure out what to do next.

Each time a new boat shows up the scene gets worse. Maybe the participants should stick to dry land.
