Minor league sports are full of gimmicks, but some are more family friendly than others.

On Saturday night, the vice president of the AHL's Milwaukee Admirals will have a prostate exam done during the team's game against the Rockford Icehogs. It will be shown on the arena's video board and made available online, if that's your sort of thing.

Minor league hockey team hopes to break NHL's indoor attendance record

The Admirals are not the first American minor league franchise to do this, actually. In July, the GM of the Class A Myrtle Beach Pelicans had the same exam while singing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame."

The Admirals are doing this is conjunction with "Movember," which attempts to raise awareness for men's health issues.
