Georgia's Todd Gurley got 27 write-in votes in Athens-Clarke County
Georgia is tabulating the official results for the electoral races decided earlier this month and an unexpected name has popped up quite a bit for several different positions: suspended Georgia Bulldogs running back Todd Gurley.
In Athens-Clarke County, home of the University of Georgia, Gurley received 27 write-in votes across seven races, including three votes for supervisor of the Oconee River Soil and Conservation District, according to OnlineAthens.com.

Voting for sports stars is a bit of a tradition across the nation, with one Alabama fan tweeting a ballot with wide receiver Amari Cooper written in. Nick Saban received several presidential votes two years earlier.
Also receiving write-in votes in Athens-Clarke County were Mickey Mouse, Belly Button Lint and, of course, Seymour Butts.
Gurley is due to return from his suspension for impermissible benefits against Auburn on Saturday.
