The Atlanta Braves sent outfielder Jason Heyward to the St. Louis Cardinals on Monday and one young fan did not take the news well.

The child can barely talk through his tears but does manage to tell his mother that he wants "J-Hey" to come back to Atlanta, and also expresses concern about Heyward's teammate Freddie Freeman, who he thinks will miss the outfielder as much as he does.

Heyward published a thank you letter to the Braves fans and the organization on Tuesday, thanking them for their support throughout his time with his hometown team.
