Website chronicles futility of winless Philadelphia 76ers

A new website called 0and76ers.net offers a short and (not so) sweet look after each Philadelphia 76ers game on how the team is doing.

Ten games into the season, the 76ers are the only winless team in the league. Every other team has at least two wins, even the Lakers.

The site isn't the most visually appealing. It features the question, "Have the 76ers won yet?" and a black checkmark in the "No" box. The background features a Philadelphia vs. #Tankadelphia graphic.

According to the registrant information at the domain’s host, GoDaddy.com, the site is registered to a person from Duarte, Calif., and was launched last week.

The 76ers tied an NBA record last season by losing 26 consecutive games after general manager Sam Hinkie gutted the roster as part of a rebuilding plan based on accumulating high draft picks and accumulating future assets.

The team traded for No. 6 pick Nerlens Noel in the 2013 draft, dealing away an All-Star point guard in Jrue Holiday. Noel, recovering from a torn ACL suffered during his year at Kentucky, did not play a game last season. This year, Hinkie took injured Kansas center Joel Embiid with the No. 3 pick and -- in a recurring theme -- it is doubtful the 7-foot Cameroon native will see the floor this season.
