The Alabama Crimson Tide football team got an amazing pep talk before they defeated then No.1 Mississippi State last Saturday from Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell, whose time in Afghanistan provided the basis for the Mark Wahlberg movie Lone Survivor.

Luttrell recounts losing his team during a Taliban assault in the Hindu Kush region and his fight to survive despite his severe injuries. He later relates his commitment to the SEALs to the players's commitment to competing in football.
