As college football's final regular season weekend approaches, a number of teams are vying for a spot in the inaugural College Football Playoff. One of the big debates is in the Big 12, where TCU sits at No. 3 despite a defeat at the hands of one-loss Baylor after blowing a late 11-point lead.

If it were up to Whataburger, this wouldn't be the case.

Whataburger isn't on the College Football Playoff selection committee, so the burger chain's opinion won't have any bearing, of course, on whether the Bears or Horned Frogs are selected.

Whataburger doesn't explicitly say that TCU should not be selected, only that Baylor should make the playoff. Considering both teams are in Texas and Whataburger has hundreds of Lone Star State locations, it would be wrong to fault the chain for rooting for its home teams.

Devin Gardner got a really nice letter from Ohio State after he consoled J.T. Barrett
