1-17!

After starting the season with 17 consecutive losses, the 76ers captured their first victory last night, 85-77 over the Timberwolves  The game actually had to be restarted after the Timberwolves attacked, and the Sixers defended, the wrong basket. But what do you expect when teams with a combined 4-30 record hit the floor? Joel Embiid celebrated like a champ and these Twitter reactions to the Sixers win were pretty hilarious.

NBA Pretty and Ugly

Ugly: Magic rookie Elfrid Payton airballs consecutive free throws ... Kyle O'Quinn's attempted jump shot that somehow went backwards.

Tyra Banks, seen here judging the 1998 Celebrity Slam Dunk Contest (in a New York Liberty jersey), turned 41 today. More importantly, she's sitting with Jimmy Smits, who plays Nero in Sons of Anarchy. I really hope Nero finds peace in Northern California and stays off the streets for good. I also hope he finds a good woman as Gemma was no good. I can't wait for the series finale next week. Also, happy birthday Tyra. For more classic sports photos, visit the SI Vault on Twitter.
