Isaiah Austin is now available as a playable character in NBA 2K15

Isaiah Austin's NBA career was over before it ever even started, but thanks to NBA 2K15 Austin can still be a virtual pro player.

Austin, a top prospect from Baylor, was diagnosed with Marfan Syndrome during the pre-draft process last spring and told the condition could prove fatal if he continued playing basketball.

2K Sports announced on Tuesday that Austin has been added to the free agent pool in the latest roster update.

Austin became a standout player at Baylor despite the fact he was blind in one eye. The 7-foot-1 center left college after his sophomore year to enter the draft. He was ceremonially taken by the NBA at the start of the draft and told the league would have a job waiting for him once he got his degree.
