The world of college football recruiting is notoriously relentless, and coaches try and reach out to prospects through every avenue possible, which is why new University of Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh has recently signed up for Twitter.

The world of college football recruiting is notoriously relentless, and coaches try and reach out to prospects through every avenue possible, which is why new University of Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh has recently signed up for Twitter.

While Harbaugh has yet to tweet anything, he already has over 13,000 followers.

For the most part high profile coaches accounts are pretty PR friendly, mainly containing stock inspirational quotes and the occasional Q&A, but if there is any hope for a coach to go on a late night Twitter rant about laser tag strategy, that hope lies with Harbaugh.
