Winter has set its frigid grips upon most of the country, sending temperatures diving, and the people of Minneapolis are getting some of the worst of the cold weather.

As one might imagine, it is difficult to get people out of their homes in -9 degree weather, so the Timberwolves are hoping to entice fans with a cold weather discount for Wednesday night's game against the Phoenix Suns.

Nine dollars off is certainly tempting, but it is probably not going to be enough to overcome the arctic cold.

Perhaps the team could offer seats on the Suns plane back to Phoenix, where it is currently a sunny 72 degrees.
