The Cavs dropped below .500 (19-20) on Tuesday with a 107-100 loss to the Suns. ESPN's Brian Windhorst has a good piece on Cleveland's disappointing season and the deteriorating relationship between the players and coach David Blatt. The clip below of James shoving Blatt aside has people talking, but if you watch the entire sequence you can see Blatt defending James after a bad call and James protecting his coach from getting a technical foul. Furthermore, this same thing happened four years ago with James and Heat coach Erik Spoelstra and they ended up doing just fine.
Johnny Hockey
Flames forward Johnny Gaudreau is one of the league's top rookies and also one of its smartest players. Sensing a potential business opportunity, Gaudreau filed a patent and trademark application in Canada and the United States for the name "Johnny Hockey." Now he needs to speak with Julian Edelman about getting some t-shirts made and the money will roll in.
Stop Bullying Beast Mode
A Seahawks fan has started a petition titled "Enough is enough! Stop bullying Beast Mode!", demanding the NFL stop forcing Marshawn Lynch to talk to the media. As of this writing (8:45 a.m.), it has 27,291 signatures.
