Rappers Wale and Kanye looking to collaborate on next Wizards uniform
Wednesday January 21st, 2015

At the beginning of the current NBA season the Washington Wizards announced that Wale would be the team's new creative liason, and now the D.C.-based rapper is talking about his dreams for the team's direction, including new uniforms designed by Kanye West.

In an interview with ESPN the Magazine, Wale lays out his goals in his new role.

"I want to be a shot in the arm to DC basketball. My job is to provide a spark, at all costs. I'm not going to do anything corny, but I'm talking to Kanye about designing new uniforms. I want to see the phone booth rocking every time I come here."

While West is best known as a rapper, he has had quite a bit of success designing sportswear, putting out two Nike sneakers that sold out as soon as they hit shelves, with a much anticipated line of apparel in conjunction with Adidas coming soon.

Hopefully Yeezy tries to put the Wizards in some of the custom Maison Margiela masks he wore on his last tour.
