Horrifying Madden glitch features players without legs

Most of the time, the Madden franchise is an uncanny simulation of NFL football. At other times, it is not. 

SB Nation's Jon Bois has manipulated the game in almost every way imaginable with his "Breaking Madden" series. One thing he has not done is dismember the players.

One Madden player sent Bois a picture of a game played by a bunch of floating torsos. It is deeply unsettling.
