Karl Malone is willing to 'knuckle up' whenever Kobe Bryant wants

Karl Malone and Kobe Bryant had a well documented falling out after Bryant accused Malone of making inappropriate comments to his wife in 2004, and Malone says that while he does not hold a grudge, he is willing to "knuckle up" with Bryant.

Malone was being interviewed on Wednesday by the Huffington Post's Marc Lamont Hill when the topic of the Hall of Famer's relationship with his one-time teammate came up, and Malone said he was willing to get physical if Bryant wanted.

"Back in the day when you had a beef, you didn't go get guns and knives, you just "Hey Marc, I got a problem." We just go in the back with no cameras, no nothing, let's just knuckle up and get it over with."

When asked if he ever informed Bryant that he was willing to fight, Malone joked "no, but it's standing."

It is a shame Bryant is injured, because a Kobe Bryant-Karl Malone boxing match would surpass even the Charles Barkley-Dick Bavetta race in All-Star Weekend greatness.
