Twitter reacts to Mayweather vs. Pacquiao fight announcement
Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao have finally agreed to step into the ring against one another on May 2, it was announced on Friday.
Reports that the two would go head-to-head have circulated for years, and the news that Mayweather and Pacquiao, widely considered the best fighters of their generation, would finally face each other has spread as swiftly as punches are sure to fly at the MGM Grand when the two square off.
The agreement's specific terms have yet to be announced, but it has been reported that the deal could be worth as much as $250 million.
