Most Traded NHL Players

The NHL trade deadline was Monday at 3 p.m. SI's Allan Muir has all the latest news and analysis. For a historical perspective, here's a look at notable trade deadline pickups through the years and a gallery of the most traded players of all time (or as I call it, The Mike Sillinger All-Stars).

Someone Is Gonna Get Fired For This

Speaking of the NHL trade deadline, a TSN viewer decided to get in on the network's #TradeCentre hashtag with a crude joke about Joffrey Lupul and Dion Phaneuf's wife, actress Elisha Cuthbert. The tweet (obviously) wasn't supposed to make it on air, and when it did, Lupul was not pleased.

Evolution of MLS Logos

Believe it or not, MLS is celebrating its 20th season this year. Unfortunately, not all of the league's original logos have made it this far. Only one of the original 10 team logos survives while four nicknames have changed and a fifth franchise, the Tampa Bay Mutiny, shut down altogether. We used the handy slider tool in this story to show how the logos have changed in the past two decades.

P.M. Lovely Lady of the Day

Enjoyed this comment from @EricBenghaziPorvaznik in Friday's P.M. Clicks about my choice of Sofia Vergara as LLOD: "Annnnnnnnd we won’t see a Lovely Lady of the Day (A.M. or P.M.) with actual curves for another 2-3 months. Oh, what a Colombian way to end February, though!" In honor of Eric and curve-lovers everywhere, here's Georgia Salpa (click here for fill-size gallery).

ESPN Anchor Feuds With Laker

ESPN's Robert Flores took a shot at Iggy Azalea during SportsCenter's "What Did We Learn" segment. Flores, after discussing the story about how a dolphin tried to kill Azalea's boyfriend, Nick Young, said, "We learned that, according to the Lakers’ Nick Young, a Dolphin recently tried to kill him. So, Nick, while Dolphins are trying to kill you, your girlfriend is trying to kill hip-hop. Let’s call it even, OK?” I actually thought it was a great line, but Young didn't find it was so funny and blasted the ESPN anchor on Twitter.

Michael Jordan's Greatest GIFs

Michael Jordan is the 1,741st richest person in the world (No. 513 in the United States) and cracked Forbes' annual list of the world's billionaires. The RSVLTS is making note of the news with a collection of MJ's greatest GIFs. For those who prefer their images remain still, here are SI's 100 all-time best Jordan pics.

Odds & Ends

Steve Spurrier joined Twitter and immediately made a mistake ... University of Tampa Baseball team > Philadelphia Phillies ...IHOP is offering free pancakes tomorrow in celebration of National Pancake Day ... I nominate these two Vanguard high school basketball players for 2015 Sportsmen of the Year ... Duke Athletics got called out by its own student paper ... Eric Decker and wife Jessie James are expecting their second child ... The best sports movies and documentaries on Netflix ... Mark Cuban will play the U.S. president in Sharknado 3 ... This made me laugh: Kim Kardashian wants "a bigger presence in the tech world" ... Thirteen odd TV characters from the '90s you secretly had a crush on. I was all about Six from Blossom.

1985 NBA Eastern Conference Semifinals Intro

Randomly came across this intro for Game 1 of the 1985 NBA semifinals between the Pistons and Celtics. Love this old NBA theme song.
