Hawks' Twitter name is now the team's magic number

The Atlanta Hawks have changed their Twitter handle to count down its magic number until they are locked in for a playoff position.

The Atlanta Hawks have been up to all sorts of social media fun this season, from the team's Tinder night promotion to skirting the rules of Twitter to celebrate the team's massive winning streak in January.

Now the team has tweaked its Twitter handle again, this time to count down its magic number until the Hawks are locked in for a playoff position.

Atlanta currently owns the best record in basketball by a half game over the Golden State Warriors, and is the top seed in the Eastern Conference by a nine-and-a-half-game margin over the Toronto Raptors.
