The Chicago Bears traded wide receiver Brandon Marshall (not to be confused with Broncos linebacker Brandon Marshall) to the New York Jets on Friday in a deal that goes official next Tuesday, pending a physical.

Marshall (again, not the one who plays for the Broncos) spent just the last three of his nine career seasons in the league with Chicago, but in that relatively short time he appears to have developed an affinity for the city and the team's fans.

His feelings were strong enough, at least, to put the effort into making an Instagram collage to bid farewell to the city.

The Jets don’t have as cuddly a mascot to offer, but surely they're happy to have Marshall just the same.
