Sixteen-year-old Connor is a Washington state native, and has been without a team since the Sonics became the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2008. But a letter and autographed basketball from the Timberwolves may persuade him to root for Minnesota.

The teenager mentioned that the ball is likely from a few years ago as it has the signature of Luke Ridnour, and the team appears to have misspelled Zach LaVine's name at one point in the letter.

Connor also posted the original letter he sent to the team to Reddit's NBA board.
