Mikey Knights's mother says she must have placed the roasting pan on top of the envelop and it stuck without her noticing, and when the dinner came out the tickets were charred.

Knights mother sat him down and told him about the mistake when he returned home from work that night, he told the BBC.

"I thought it was a wind-up at first, but then I opened the envelope and the 16 tickets were inside, all black."
