Roy Halladay took a shot at Alex Rodriguez on Twitter

Halladay ragged on Rodriguez's batting on twitter with a little help

Alex Rodriguez has been a popular target for jokes as he makes his comeback after a one-year suspension for his involvement in the Biogenesis performance-enhancing drug scandal, and not even retired players are passing up the chance to take a swipe.

That includes former Cy Young winner Roy Halladay, who used to meet Rodriguez on the diamond, who enlisted some relatives or possibly just a few bystanders to take a jab on Twitter at his former foe.

He claimed the woman batting had a better swing Rodriguez, who has more than 600 home runs, and that she didn't even need to use PEDs. Halladay, however, did not offer independent confirmation of her abilities.

Even in retirement, Halladay can still throw some heat.
