Frank Kaminsky on meeting Will Ferrell: 'I was very nervous'
Wisconsin forward Frank Kaminsky was on Hollywood Boulevard on Tuesday, as the Badgers are in town to face UNC in the Sweet 16 on Thursday. The big man got to interview Will Ferrell, the original Frank the Tank, for Access Hollywood, and right before it happened he said it was "the most nervous I've ever been in my entire life."
"My hands were shaking, my palms were sweaty, I was afraid I was gonna mess up. It was awesome," he said afterwards.
Kaminsky said it was one of the coolest things he's ever done, and he even got Ferrell to sign this week's Sports Illustrated, which features the senior on the cover. Unfortunately for Wisconsin, Kaminsky said Ferrell told him he'll be pulling for North Carolina because he has family from there.
"I think we might've swayed him a little bit to cheer for us," the forward said.
The full interview airs Wednesday night on Access Hollywood.
