On Sunday night, Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns squared off in the main event at WrestleMania XXXI, but before they hit the ring they received well wishes from a company that previously employed them both, the Minnesota Vikings.
Reigns, who was born Leati Joseph Anoa'i, signed with the Vikings after going undrafted out of Georgia Tech in 2007, while Lesnar joined the squad after he had already achieved fame with the WWE.
While neither wrestler made it out of the pre-season with the team, Minnesota is still proud to have two former players succeeding in their new field.
Unfortunately for the Vikings alumni, a classic WWE twist led to neither of the fighters leaving the WWE's biggest event with a victory, as Jon Stewart's nemesis Seth Rollins, crashed their match and walked away WWE champion.
