The Nationals are the betting favorite to win the World Series this season, but things didn't go their way on Opening Day. Not even this adorable baby could power the Nats to win over the Mets.

Racing presidents get tackled by Easter Bunny at Nationals Park

The baby did a great job firing up the crowd and things looked somewhat promising for the Nats. With Mets closer Jenrry Mejia injured, all they had to do was score two runs off journeyman reliever Buddy Carlyle. 

But it just wasn't meant to be.
