As anyone who has ever participated in a cycling race knows, to be successful in the sport you have to be able to get into a nice rhythm on your bike and stay in that rhythm. You try to avoid anything that can throw you off.

Well, there was no avoiding this.

During the race, riders encountered a train crossing the tracks, something that there was absolutely no way around.
