The New York Knicks promised free food at Wednesday's Fan Appreciation Night at Madison Square Garden, and their fans took advantage. Seriously.

Looks like the Knicks' 112–90 loss to the Detroit Pistons didn't dampen their fans' spirits. Although, even if it did, free food is a pretty great pick-me-up.
So many people left MSG with food bounties that multiple homeless people turned our offer of hot dogs down because they already had several— Rodger Sherman (@rodger_sherman) April 16, 2015
Knicks Fan Appreciation night feels illegal. Ppl just walking up to any concession stand and getting free food. Grabbing drinks off shelves— Kenny Ducey (@KennyDucey) April 16, 2015
The Knicks also had discounted merchandise and jersey giveaways, making for a pretty high-quality Fan Appreciation Night.
The final score aside, it seemed like a pretty good night at the Garden—one fan even won $10,000 for sinking a half-court shot.
