Scenes From Mayweather-Pacquiao

Simon Bruty for Sports Illustrated

Floyd Mayweather defeated Manny Pacquiao in a fight that left most people feeling somewhat unsatisfied. But most of the fun took place outside the ring. Pacquiao was escorted to the ring by Jimmy Kimmel while Mayweather was joined by the Burger King ... Pacquiao seemed to take an unusual amount of selfies, which it turned out was part of his sponsorship deal with Samsung ... Patriots teammates Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski, Danny Amendola and Julian Edelman took a private jet to the fight ... Jamie Foxx sang one of the more interesting national anthems I've heard at a sporting event ... Not everyone watched the fight, of course, so they had to tweet about what they were watching ... Many who planned to watch the fight battled pay-per-view problems. The smart viewers watched for free on Periscope ... Kanye West watched the fight with Carmelo Anthony and Dwyane Wade ... The biggest controversy before the fight was whether Mayweather pulled the press passes from two female reporters covering the fight ... Scarlett Johannson hosted Saturday Night Live and ruined the result for the cast ... Pro golfer Brittany Lincicome was not impressed with the bout ... After the fight, Mayweather showed off his $100 million check on TV.

Weekend's Other Major Sporting Event

No, not the Kentucky Derby (here's Tim Layden on American Pharoah's victory) ... or the NFL Draft (here are our grades for all 32 teams) ... or the NBA Playoffs (here's Ben Golliver on Chris Paul's finest moment) ... or the NHL Playoffs (here's Brian Hamilton on the Blackhawks star players). The other major sporting event of the weekend was The Dorset Knob Throwing and Food Festival event in Cattistock, U.K., where participants threw a locally-made biscuit as far as they could. That's not all--the event also included knob putting, knob walking, knob archery and pin the knob on the Cerne Giant.

Important WAG Updates

Tiger Woods and Lindsey Vonn have broken up (rather amicably), and since its 2015, they announced the separation on Facebook. Meanwhile, Brooklyn Decker and Andy Roddick announced that they are expecting their first child. And for those who just like looking at photos of attractive women, Next Impulse Sports has the Top pro wrestling WAGs and Top NBA WAGs while Busted Coverage looks at the hottest NFL Draft WAGs of the past five years.

Lovely Lady of the Day

Former 106th and Park host Rocsi Diaz has over 1 million Twitter followers yet I never featured her until Jeff from Chicago requested I make her a LLOD. I am not sure how this happened but I vow to do better. Rocsi earns today's honors (click here for full-size gallery).

Odds & Ends

Johnny Weir had a mint julep in his Kentucky Derby hat ... Rob Gronkowski (and his plaid suit) were the big winners at the Kentucky Derby ... A sports blogger electrocuted himself with a dog collar while waiting for Saturday's fight to begin ... Canadiens forward Brandon Prust accused referee Brad Watson of calling him "every name in the book" ... We had this in Weekend Clicks but I couldn't resist repeating it: Skip Bayless was way, way off with this Brandon Weeden prediction from 2012 ... Gregg Popovich delivered one of his funniest lines after losing to the Clippers in Game 7 ...  Hulk Hogan is being offered big money to star in the U.S. vs. U.K. version of Celebrity Big Brother ... The Patriots drafted a legally blind linebacker with the 178th overall pick ...  Can you spot the huge error on Vanity Fair's new Star Wars cover? ... A Kurt Cobain solo album is coming this summer ... I'm happy to see Blind Melon, one of the more underrated '90s bands, get some love ...

Obviously that hot mic clip is "life imitating art" with the art being The Naked Gun.
