LeBron James has once again pledged to stay off social media and away from phones entirely during the NBA playoffs, but even he couldn't quite stay away after Chris Paul's game-winner to beat the Spurs in Game 7 on Saturday.
Paul's runner with one second remaining capped an electric finish to Game 7 and eliminated the defending champs. And the point guard did it despite dealing with a hamstring injury that left him questionable for Game 1 against the Rockets on Monday.
James, like so many others, was amazed at Paul's efforts and wanted to let him know. So he borrowed his wife's phone and called the Clippers guard, said what he needed to say and promptly hung up.

Paul should probably consider himself lucky to get that much from LeBron during the playoffs.
