Seattle police, firemen called to help man stuck in basketball hoop
Seattle police were called to an odd scene on May 1, one in which they discovered a man stuck inside a basketball hoop at a playground after a May Day demonstration ended nearby.
The man was shirtless and holding a hammer while he was entangled in the rim's net and the police called in local firefighters to help with the process of getting him out of his strange predicament, according to Seattle's KOMONews.com.
The police are still considering pressing charges against the man for property destruction, but the city police Twitter account kept a sense of humor about the peculiar incident.
