LeBron asked about Kyrie Irving's zero assists in front of Irving
Saturday May 9th, 2015

The final question of LeBron James and Kyrie Irving's Game 3 press conference came with a little added bait.

Mark Schwarz of ESPN asked James about a game earlier in the season, against Utah, when Irving had no assists. Hampered by a foot injury, Irving again registered zero assists in Game 3. "Does [Irving] get a pass though, for tonight...?"

Essentially, the question teed up James to criticize his star teammate, with Irving sitting directly alongside him. Maybe just a little awkward. James expertly deflected it with his response, but it was Irving's reaction that said it all—and produced some nervous laughter from reporters.
