The Mountain from 'Game of Thrones' will take BP with the Phillies

The Mountain from HBO's Game of Thrones will take batting practice before Friday's Philadelphia Phillies game.

We already know The Mountain from HBO's Game of Thrones is pretty good at (spoiler alert) crushing things, but can he crush a baseball?

Hafthór Björnsson, the Icelandic strongman who played the character in Season 4, is going to take batting practice at Citizens Bank Park before Friday's Phillies game to promote the Philadelphia Renaissance Faire.

Björnsson is no stranger to professional sports—he finished second in last year's World's Strongest Man competition. In addition to his work in strongman competitions, he also played professional basketball in Iceland.

In January, he broke some kind of ancient Viking record by carrying a 1,433-pound log for five steps. The average baseball bat is 35 ounces.
