Cardinals fans set Guinness World Record for most simultaneous selfies

St. Louis Cardinals fans pulled off an impressive feat at Saturday's game against the Detroit Tigers.

A total of 4,296 fans set the Guinness World Record for most people taking selfies simultaneously. The official record even explains what selfies are (self photographs) to those who may still be unaware.

The record-breaking event was organized by Nathan's Famous Hot Dogs, and the number of fans who participated seems to point to it being something separate to the 45,313 who were on hand for the game. No matter though, all that means is there's potential for this record to be shattered further if you can get a whole stadium to participate.
