It turns out Kevin Garnett's trademark intensity is not limited to the basketball court.

A new feature on Bleacher Report offers an insider's look at Garnett's career in oral history form and in it is a story that puts to bed any doubt that the power forward on court thumping and howling was any sort of act.

Tyronn Lue, who was a member of the Celtics' coaching staff while Garnett was in Boston, told a story about how even something as innocuous as a reality television show was enough to fire KG up to the point of smashing walls with his head.

If Garnett is going to do that kind of damage because of Making The Band, it is no wonder he gets so riled up over taking a charge.
