Charles Barkley thinks the Atlanta Hawks are done for after falling behind 2-0 to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday night.
The outspoken TNT commentator and NBA legend made his feelings known, taking the whole 'I'll alert the media' thing a bit seriously. After the game concluded, Barkley apparently walked into the press room at Philips arena and told media members that whoever the last one working was should turn out the lights when they leave.
Barkey-speak translation: nobody will be coming back to Atlanta this season, as Games 3 and 4 take place in Cleveland.
Sure, LeBron James' Game 2 performance was convincing, but ouch.
Charles Barkley just came into the media room. "I hate to be the bearer of bad news but the last one here has to turn the lights out."— Chris Vivlamore (@CVivlamoreAJC) May 23, 2015
I missed this, but apparently Charles Barkley entered press room during the press conferences & said the last writer should turn out lights.— Ethan J. Skolnick (@EthanJSkolnick) May 23, 2015
