Watch: Urban Meyer, Ohio State football play a game of softball

Ohio State football plays softball and dodgeball at its Champions Dinner.

Ohio State football recently held its annual Champions Dinner, which is when head coach Urban Meyer invites those of his players who are part of the team's "Champions Club" (for their work on and off the field) for some food and fun.

This year's dinner featured the team engaging in some friendly competition in the form of dodgeball and softball. Even Meyer got involved in the latter.

If you pay attention, you can learn several things about the Buckeyes when watching them cross into a new sport. For example, Tracy Sprinkle has some serious skills in the outfield.

Quarterback Cardale Jones, however, probably shouldn't quit his promising football career for one in baseball anytime soon (perhaps he needs a good-luck fish on his side).

Meanwhile, defensive end Joey Bosa seemed like a natural on the diamond, even hitting a home run while barefoot.
