Watch: Eagles' Mark Sanchez butchers Backstreet Boys karaoke

This would be a rare instance in which we'll say, "Stick to your day job, Mark."

This would be a rare instance in which we'll say, "Stick to your day job, Mark Sanchez."

The Philadelphia Eagles quarterback enjoyed a night out on the town Tuesday that included a trip to one of Philadelphia's legendary karaoke bars.

Sanchez was apparently so moved by the Backstreet Boys song "I Want It That Way" playing over the loudspeaker, that he grabbed a patron en route to the bathroom and coerced him into a duet of the song, according to the New York Daily News

Right at what appears to be the song's emotional key change, Sanchez's voice goes right off the rails into some pitch-less, wailing range.

Gronkowski family will be appearing on Family Feud

Sensing perhaps that he doesn't want this moment living in infamy, he grabs the cell phone of his duet partner, who was recording the moment because, obviously.

The delayed-action grab of the cell phone is not only priceless, but also in rhythm with the rest of the song.

Thankfully, Sanchez eventually gave the phone back to the man. As a result, we have the below footage to show you, courtesy of Philadelphia radio DJ Jon Marks.
