The Altoona Curve is honoring one of western Pennsylvania's finest residents with a special neighborhood night this July, featuring special uniforms in homage to Mr. Rogers Neighborhood star Fred Rogers.

The Pirates Double-A affiliate's special jerseys will feature a printed facsimile of the beloved host's classic cardigan and tie ensemble, and will also feature an appearance by Daniel Tiger, denizen of the "Neighborhood of Make Believe" and host of Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood.

"Neighborhood Night" will also feature a sweater drive to benefit the American Rescue Workers foundation, in addition to handing out 500 books to kids in attendance for the July 5 game, with one child winning a Daniel Tiger prize pack.

If you grew up watching Mr. Rogers you no doubt are interested in getting your hands on one of these jerseys, and luckily they are being auctioned off with the proceeds going to the local PBS station WPSU.

There is now a Bryce Harper tribute song
