Young Blackhawks fan shares Packers love at Chicago’s Stanley Cup parade

A young Chicago Blackhawks fan attended the city’s Stanley Cup victory parade on Thursday, but didn’t necessarily stick to the script when asked to name her favorite player.

She had plenty of options, of course—Patrick Kane, Jonathan Toews, Duncan Keith, etc.

But when a WGN 9 reporter got the fan—decked out in Blackhawks gear and surrounded by four other young Chicago fans— in front of the camera, she gleefully, emphatically responded, “Packers!”

The surprise answer didn’t seem to register with her fellow Blackhawks fans, perhaps overwhelmed by being on TV.

The day certainly belongs to Chicago, but count a win for Wisconsin and the Packers.

Patrick Kane's first time on an NHL card may have come 20 years ago
