Cristiano Ronaldo’s ad for a muscle stimulation device is kinda weird

Cristiano Ronaldo is once again getting slightly weird to sell a product. This time, it’s the Sixpad Body Revolution, a Japanese muscle stimulator.

Cristiano Ronaldo is once again getting slightly weird to sell a product. This time, it’s the Sixpad Body Revolution, a Japanese muscle stimulator.

You might recall—or not—the bizarre dance the Real Madrid star unfurled to sell his CR7 footwear line a couple months back. In this new commercial for the electrical device that just gets slapped onto your abs, arms, thighs or wherever feels right, Ronaldo lets the Sixpad flap his muscles around for all of YouTube to see. Pretty bold—even if you look like Ronaldo.

At the end, too, he gives an oddly sly smile that seems to confirm he knows how awkward this is. Great self awareness, Ronaldo.
