GoPro footage from bike cameras at the Tour de France has hit the Internet, and the results are truly awe-inspiring.

Especially for viewers who aren’t cycling aficionados, it’s incredible watching how cyclists remain so close to each other, even around turns, without flinching or over-adjusting.

It’s also terrifying see the results of some of the spills cyclists take when things go wrong, as you can see at the 1:53 mark in this video from GoPro before the Tour de France.
