J.J. Redick sums up DeAndre Jordan situation with more emojis
Wednesday ended up being one of the most peculiar days in NBA free agent history, as DeAndre Jordan changed his mind about joining the Mavericks after an 11th-hour visit from his Clippers coach and teammates.
As the situation reached a fever pitch, an emoji battle broke out on the Twitter, with J.J. Redick indicating he would be driving from Austin to Houston to visit Jordan, while the Mavericks' Chandler Parsons sent a plane emoji, leading to just about everyone associated with the NBA, and several teams who are not, tweeting some emojis inspired by the situation.
Once all the dust settled, the center was headed back to Los Angeles, and Redick was on his way home to Austin, having changed his mind on his previous criticism of the Clipper off-season from an “F-” to an “A+”.
Redick's emoji nemesis Parsons also had some final words on the situation, although he reverted back to text to share his feelings.
