Spurs fan in China made a Boris Diaw portrait out of pushpins

It is a long way until the NBA's regular season starts up again in late October, so one San Antonio Spurs fan in China has decided to kill some time by making a massive portrait of Boris Diaw out of pushpins.

According to Reddit’s r/NBA board, the project took up 20 days and required 11,750 pushpins to create this photorealistic portrait of Diaw clutching the Larry O’Brien Trophy.

The artist has a page on Chinese social networking site Hupu, with a picture of San Antonio general manager R.C. Buford as her avatar, which further enhances her credentials as a die-hard Spurs fan, if the pushpin representation of Diaw was not enough proof.
