Larry King breaks news, says Dodgers and White Sox could make trade
In a surprising news break Friday afternoon, longtime television host Larry King took the time to leak an MLB trade deadline rumor involving the Dodgers and White Sox.
“Don't be surprised if the @dodgers and @whitesox make a trade before the deadline, July 31st.” King tweeted.
His sources are unclear and the whole thing is decidedly vague. Still, after all these decades in the entertainment business, King probably knows somebody. He worked as a color commentator for the Miami Dolphins and hosted a sports talk show in the 1970s, although that was a while ago. But he's been known to give a hot sports take every now and then on his Twitter account.
In summary, who really knows where this came from? Time will tell.
But if the Dodgers and White Sox make a trade, you heard it from Larry King first.
