That love manifests itself every summer at the team’s annual Fan Day event, which sees scores of Alabama faithful sprinting across Bryant-Denny Stadium field to get autographs from their favorite players and coaches.
One fan, who calls himself the “King of Fan Day,” got in line for the Sunday event on Thursday, and joked that he had been training for the sprint ever since the 2014 event.
