People want to buy that weird courtroom sketch of Tom Brady

Courtroom sketch artist Jane Rosenberg is fielding offers for her drawing of New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.

By now, Jane Rosenberg is easily the most famous courtroom sketch artist in the world, and it might help make her a few bucks.

Rosenberg burst on the scene last week with a compelling (if not entirely accurate) drawing of Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. Though she’s gotten plenty of hate for failing to capture Brady’s handsomeness, Rosenberg says she’s received at least 20 offers to buy the original sketch.

Rosenberg told the New York Daily News that she’s had people offer unspecified sums of money for the piece and also fielded offers from museums to loan it out. The Sports Museum, located inside Boston’s TD Bank Garden, wants to put the sketch on display next to some sketches Rosenberg made during the Dzhokhar Tsarnaev trial.

“I have not decided I’m going to do with it,” Rosenberg told the Daily News. “I don’t have a clue what it’s truly worth. This isn’t a normal sketch I’m selling to some assistant U.S. Attorney. It might be a different arena entirely – sports memorabilia.”

Rosenberg was a little nervous when the Daily News informed her that Brady was expected to be back in court on Monday, but fortunately for her Brady appears to have changed his mind
