John Harbaugh compares Ravens’ training camp to childbirth
John Harbaugh has heard from some of his players that this season’s training camp has been the most grueling yet, a complaint that apparently reminds him of giving birth, reports ESPN.
"To me, it's the same training camp we've always had. Maybe it's like childbirth—it's not so bad after you have your kid. I can't speak to that; maybe some of us here can."
The Ravens coach then sought out a female reporter to see if his comparison was apt, before explaining that he is not surprised the players believe their current workouts to be their most severe.

“[W]hen you're going through it it's really rough. [The players are] going through it right now, so I can see why they think it's the toughest one.”
Baltimore recently held a joint practice with the Eagles at their Philadelphia facilities before the two teams square off in a preseason game on Aug. 22.
